These Terms of Service govern your use of the Vanterre Maison website and your purchase of our products. By using the site or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
Products & pricing
Our pieces are hand-finished and often made to order, so natural variation in wood grain, stone, and finish is expected and is not a defect. Prices are listed in U.S. dollars and may change at any time. We work to keep product descriptions and imagery accurate but do not warrant that they are error-free.
Orders & payment
All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. Checkout and payment are processed securely through Shopify. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order, including for suspected fraud or pricing errors, and to limit quantities.
Shipping & delivery
We offer complimentary shipping on orders as noted at checkout. Delivery timelines are estimates; because pieces are made to order, lead times may vary and will be communicated with your order. Risk of loss passes to you upon delivery.
Returns & exchanges
If something isn’t right, contact us at hello@vanterre.com and we’ll make it right in line with our return policy. Made-to-order and custom pieces may be non-returnable except in the case of a defect or damage in transit.
Accounts
If you create a customer account, you are responsible for keeping your sign-in credentials secure and for activity under your account. Account sign-in is provided through Shopify’s customer accounts.
Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, imagery, designs, and the Vanterre name and marks — belongs to Vanterre Maison or its licensors and may not be used without our written permission.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the site unlawfully, interfere with its operation or security, or attempt to access it in any unauthorized way.
Disclaimers & limitation of liability
The site and products are provided “as is” to the fullest extent permitted by law. To the extent permitted by law, Vanterre Maison is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site or products.
Governing law & changes
